I’m Mark Wardecker, and professionally, I’m a librarian and academic technologist who is interested in how digital technology impacts and is influenced by research and instruction practices.  For those who are into that, my full CV, Academia.edu profile, and bookmarks (professional) to several resources are available in the left-hand sidebar.

Just as importantly, though, this site is also dedicated to many of my avocational pursuits: Sherlock Holmes, Victorian and Edwardian periodical literature, pulp fiction, classical literature, Doctor Who, and many others. The recreational bookmarks in the left-hand sidebar contain many resources dedicated to these topics. I also enjoy writing, and some of my stories and essays can be freely downloaded here. I’ve even relocated a blog I’ve kept sporadically for several years to this site.
